Job Description

  • Lead, manage and develop the commercial, financial modeling, assurance and risk management systems and processes.
  • Work with the Operational Teams to deliver a consistent, focused, sustainable and profitable business.
  • Develop, maintain and manage service contracts with customers.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and manage their implementation & best practices to the measurable satisfaction of the client.
  • Provide a conduit between the business and Legal Department to ensure efficient use of the available resources.
  • Identification of opportunities to improve the financial performance of a project or commission.
  • Maintain the risk management performance against the agreed budget and business plans implementing remedial plans to correct any areas of underperformance, financial modeling/management.
  • Business planning, financial control and commercial/risk management to pre-determined targets.
  • The introduction of business initiatives to pre-determined timescales.
  • Identify skills gaps so that personal development and recruitment activities are tailored to the needs of the business unit and the succession planning requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Science or Biotechnology is required.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal, French is preferable. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership, management and commercial skills.
  • Ability to initiate and lead change.-Excellent computer skills.
  • Multi-task, with the ability to layout strategy for accomplishing goals.
  • Able to prepare and allocate financial resources in different activities and projects to make a plan & budget.
  • Able to achieve goals by managing the budget and other financial resources as per plan. 
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors, contractors, etc. to obtain the most cost-effective prices and contract terms.
  • Good Knowledge of Governmental Regulations concerning the industry.
