Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor - Retail Operations to join our team. This role involves supporting the internal audit function by conducting audits across our stores` locations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of retail operations, including sales processes, inventory management, and compliance adherence.
- Support the assessment of internal controls and help recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with store managers to gather information and address audit findings.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and assist in presenting findings to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting retail operations.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies.
- Provide training and support to store personnel on compliance and operational best practices.
- Visit various store locations as required to conduct audits.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in internal auditing or related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of retail operations and compliance standards is a plus.
