Job Description
- Oversee and manage all technical office activities related to office furniture and interior projects.
- Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide solutions for design and engineering challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the technical office.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a technical office engineering role, preferably within office furniture or interior fit-out sectors.
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and project documentation.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to office interiors and furniture manufacturing.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior engineers or technical staff.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and engineering software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work on-site as required by project demands.
