About The Job :
An Inventory Controller is the person who handles tasks that are related to inventory in a warehouse setting for Retail Branches. His role includes maintaining inventory levels, making monthly inventory reports, recording and labeling inventory items to be used in the future and maintaining accurate records to achieve company goals .
Job Responsibilities & Duties :
- His role includes maintaining inventory levels (Max-Min).
- Maintains and manages inventory of materials and stocked products, which include stock locations and profiles.
- he accounts for receipts of new items, returns, back-orders and associated issues, and inputs essential data on all the handled materials.
- Ensures that the inward goods and stock control department is properly controlled and organized for sufficient production support and for the achievement of corporate goals.
- Makes sure that any late materials or those that hold up production for a certain reason are followed up until they are received.
- Provides routine management data regarding inventory performance.
- Performs miscellaneous duties, which are work-related, as assigned.
- Creates daily reports to control the key critical areas of the stock system and address any discrepancy. This task involves managing control measures to make sure inaccuracies and errors are highlighted and resolved.
- Coordinate with stores managers in order to have easy and efficient products cycle.
- Managing the yearly and mid yearly stock take .
- Create new codes for the new products .
Job Requirements
- High Degree.
- Should have previous experience specifically in ready made garments retail (Fashion) for 3- 5 years.
- Should have experience in inventory management computer software, such as Retail Pro or equivalent.
- Work as a stock control & inventory specialist in Retail Fashion
- Should have experience in using Microsoft Excel , Word.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical Skills.
- Presentation Skills.
- Ability to work under stress to meet deadlines.
