Job Description
The Senior UX Product Designer is responsible for the design of digital experiences for web and mobile and other digital platforms.
You will work together with Product team while collaborating with other business units to design innovative solutions to business challenges. You have an innate sensitivity to good design, understand what makes a good design, and show it through your process and outcomes. You must possess an impeccable ability to design great user interactions and experiences. As the senior designer, you will be responsible for the design of variety of products across many digital channels.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Synthesize data from different sources and other input into visual representation that provides clarity of the context and the future directions.
- Own the user experience, user interaction and visual design of digital platforms across the entire platform lifecycle and multiple releases and launches.
- Develop ideas, concept design, wireframes and information architecture.
- Rapidly produce multiple concept designs and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
- Understanding of design systems, and ability to create neat visual design following the Material design and iOS standards.
- Learn and apply the latest design best practices aligned with the company’s business, innovation, and brand strategy.
- Collaborate with teams in cross-functional units i.e. design and product to gather data and input, align design strategy and functionalities in order to execute your design vision.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of design experience, working as a Senior UX and UI Visual Designer.
- A decent portfolio, showcasing the design process behind pixel-perfect outcome. Being able to design aesthetically pleasing artifacts as tangible outcomes is fundamental, however what matters most is the thought and process behind the pretty pixels.
- Knowledge of user research and testing methodologies and knows when to use what.
- Great visual designer with high sensitivity of what great design is, with a strong foundation in digital platforms and passion in your craft.
- Knowledge and affinity in design and prototyping tools (XD, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Able to work in a highly iterative user-centered design process within a team or individually.
- Ability to move fast, get things done, and most importantly be able to adapt to change in all forms.
- Must be able to properly communicate effectively in English (Verbal and Written)
