Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

This position will be responsible for managing and supporting infrastructure, application development and maintenance of technologies used by the Company’s e-commerce divisions, including, but not limited to, web sites, content management systems,e-Commerce tools and applications, marketing automation and reporting tools, as well as related and dependent systems and applications.

  • The manager will also be responsible for aligning marketing technology with Company strategy and execution goals and implementing cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • This includes requirements, design, integration, and administration of processes.
  • The candidate also will be responsible for the training, administration and change management.
  • The Manager will function as the lead in the automation of processes and help orchestrate development of solutions with consultants’ help.
  • The successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses a track record of willingness and ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments and boundaries to deliver on project objectives.
  • The Manager must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverable end-to-end, and prioritize workload effectively, submit projects completed as per agreed upon target dates.
  • Help to identify the most user friendly technology for external and internal customers.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly report related to work progress, analysis and achievements milestones.
  • Business acumen, self-motivated and result oriented, go to coach, mentor and leader.      

Job Requirements

  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Manage the technical resources involved in design, development and maintenance of marketing technology systems and applications
  • Manage all technical aspects of marketing technology stack .
  • Working with hosting providers, the Manager will be responsible for website hosting, domain management.
  • Ensure sites and applications retain a 99.99% up-time. Quickly mitigate any outages. Communicate planned outages in advance.
  • Understand best practice marketing processes and align technology solutions to optimize those processes across the business
  • Help select, configure, and integrate technology solutions (at times to support core system integrations)
  • Ensure web and e-Commerce technology products meet security and legal requirements
  • Lead proof of concept efforts to quickly test and validate the usefulness of software solutions to Company initiatives
  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with boundary and third-party partners to ensure coordinated implementation and deployments
  • Influences and partners closely with peers and leaders to implement major business initiatives across the company
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and advise on their implications for the organization
  • Work closely with a cross-functional senior team to align our technology and analytics strategy to our offerings.
  • Work with vendors to implement functional enhancements to app infrastructure.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Interactive Design or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a developer
  • At least 4 years hands-on digital design experience with emphasis on user interface design
  • Previous supervisory or management experience of developers
  • Ability to implement, integrate, support and upgrade various technology systems
  • Must have excellent analytical, written and communication skills
  • Proficient with  eCommerce platforms, is a must.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently
  • Have a passion for technology and follow industry best practices at regional and global level.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments and IT teams on content and system integrations
  • Track and manage expenditures and budget for web development tools, mobile apps, and hosting
  • Partnering with Company business technology team on company-wide initiatives that will be shared  across all e-commerce business and OMNI Channel business model.
  • Designing ways to increase awareness and adoption of digital platforms to present best in class user friendly e-commerce platform.
  • Conduct periodical meetings and/or status meetings as needed.
  • Ready and willing to work under stress in remote areas, as well as delivering projects within a tight deadline time-frame with high level of accuracy to enable e-commerce business to drive and lead change in the market .
  • Act as a team player, highly developed in analytical and communication skills with data, information , reports ready as and when required
