Job Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and Facility Schedulers.
- Organize records to save all information and data related to the purchasing process
- Collecting information related to the materials, labor requirements and products available in the markets required by the company.
- Studying trends or price levels related to materials and supplies
- Issuing a supplier registration record showing all supplier data and constant search for new suppliers to reach the lowest prices in the end, in the interest of the company
- Review purchase orders received from different units in the company.
- Issue price quotations to accredited suppliers, compare them and reach negotiations to the maximum discount rate
- Issuing the supply order to the supplier whose price has been accepted.
- Receiving the required raw materials with the required quality after the inspection and making sure that they conform to the specifications and delivered to the company's warehouses or the site
- Coordinating with the financial administration to issue checks and follow up the supplier account
- Participate in the preparation of procedures for the management of procurement with the representative of the management of the quality system and the director of planning and quality assurance
- Analyze current inventory to reduce carrying costs.
- Create and maintain Purchase Orders for all required materials.
- Review purchased item quantities on PO’s vs actual demand from requests.
- Work with AP to resolve invoicing issues to maintain price agreements as determined as PO was issued.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 5 - 7 years of related experience in the construction field.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
