- Develop and write task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes.
- Develop, plan and model alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components, and recommend implementation of improved procedures, process improvements and/or set-up reduction techniques.
- Prepare charts, graph, and diagram to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components such as heavy trucks, forklift and loader …..etc.
- Set up and conduct tests of complete units and component under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.
- Analyze indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
- Management of the heavy equipment workshop to carry out all types of maintenance and repair for the company's equipment.
- Supervise the maintenance of all vehicles and heavy equipment internally and externally, ensure the safety and maintenance of machines, and follow up on the implementation of the preventive maintenance plan for them.
- Lead employees in the maintenance workshop to maintain scheduled preventive maintenance periods and repair damage and malfunctions of heavy equipment.
- Provide spare parts for equipment that are not available and coordinate with the warehouse management to ensure the availability of the required stock of spare parts.
- Follow up on renewal dates for equipment certificates.
- Prepare the budget for the spare parts and the periodical maintenance and monitor the expenditure of the maintenance department.
- Perform any duties assigned by direct manager.
