Academic Supervisor

Working Days: 

• 5 Days/week 
• 2 days off ‘’Rotational''

Working Hours:

• 8 hrs. ‘’ 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm ''

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance, instruction, and assessment.
• Contribute to the recruitment and development of the academy.
• Communicate with parents and board members.
• Attend regular team and Departmental meetings.
• Promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning.
• Teach, support and monitor our English teachers.
• Communicate progress, concerns and reports to parents.
• Assess, write reports and Monitor Student progress.
• Conduct informal / diagnostic and formal/ evaluative class visits.
• Give teachers corrective feedback and remedial procedures when needed.
• Ensure that the instructional programs engage the learner in tasks that require analytical and critical thinking, questioning the known, problem solving and creativity.
• Analyze assessments results.
• Apply the Common Core Standards and approved curricula.
• Handle assigned tasks from management team.
