Job Description
Product Specialist “Oncology, Hematology and Biomarker tests.”
Areas Needed “ Cairo - Alexandria and Delta”
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Under the supervision of SM/FM, the Product Specialist is responsible for providing education to the HCPs for assigned listed Product(s) within Institutions
- Prepare a call cycle for the HCPs in the respective institution(s)/centers (where required) and agreement of the call cycle with Sales manager prior to implementation.
HCP Relationships
- Consistently use approved clinical studies and marketing aids to deliver the value to the
HCPs to meet the practitioner’s, institutions, and company’s objectives
- Obtain research and full background information on each institutional HCP prior to visit.
- Visit prospective HCPS as per the Call Cycle, and deliver effective presentations, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and provide appropriate pricing information, in line with the relevant product label and asper SFE guidelines (KPI: minimum of 90% of scheduled calls each cycle)
- Manage daily itinerary and route schedule to maximize efficiency
- Refer to medical lead with regards to requests from the Centers relating to information, not state din the Product Label, asper local laws and regulations
- Manage day-to-day HCP relations and development of long-term relationships, and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date records on each HCP/Institution and other stakeholders (where required) and submission of reports on a timely basis (as agreed by SM)
- Regularly evaluate each HCP.
- Develop a territory coverage plan that maximizes selling time with all account professionals.
- Review and revise call cycle inline with evaluation, and with agreement of supervisor
- Ensure all activities are compliant with Business Conduct, and Core Values and Leadership Expectations
Therapeutic Area Knowledge Level
- Demonstrate high level of knowledge in Palliative Oncology/Hematology and biomarkers test.
- Regularly review clinical updates, materials and training manuals on respective therapeutic area
Job Requirements
- Graduate, with a Medical Professional Degree(e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology etc.)
- Minimum of two years competent and consistent performance as a Medical Representative or Product Specialist in an MNC Pharmaceutical/healthcare company.
- Previous experience with Oncology/ Hematology is desirable..
- Technical& leadership profile Required
