Job Description

  • Plans and prepares store working schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
  • Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs store staff preparing products displays and advertising.
  • Supervises employees engaged in sales work, workshop operations, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, depositing daily cash received in Happy Vision banks, keeping operating records, preparing daily record of transactions, and performs work of subordinates, as needed.
  • Supervise ordering of special lenses from laboratory and follow up their receiving.
  • Manage the store inventory and prepares requisitions to replenish inventory on hand.
  • Ensures compliance of employees with established store policies and procedures and practices.
  • Answers customer's complaints or inquiries.
  • Locks and secures the store.
  • Assist in analyzing the competitive position of Happy Vision products and services and recommend product display styling and price structures changes through his market understanding.
  • Measure, analyze and report profit contributed by appropriate segments.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new procedures and systems and supervise the implementation of controls.
  • Establish inventory controls and stock/ order levels and supervise inventory balances.
  • Monitoring and controlling store unreconciled invoices and continuously enhance collection activity.
  • Adopt a comprehensive definition of "customer satisfaction" and apply customer satisfaction philosophy to internal and external customers.
  • Enhance and continuously measure customers satisfaction and monitor their satisfaction with services provided and with complaints resolution.
  • Determine customer needs and wants from a continuing relationship.
  • Establish value-added partnerships with ophthalmologist within his/her area.
  • Analyze, understand the competition in the region supervised and monitor customer reactions to competitive offerings and communicate results.
  • Monitor changes in market or customer expectation and report changes.
  • Recommend new or altered or discontinuance of products or services based on market trends.
  • Insure employees' compliance with personnel & administration policies and procedures and supervise its implementation in the store.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance, and the efficiency of personnel within the store and maintain appropriate employee’s evaluation records.
  • Supervise the administrative function in the store. 
  • Supervise the store regular maintenance to ensure keeping a presentable shop and retaining the company's image.

Job Requirements

  • Optometrist with ten to fifteen years of experience in optical sales field.
  • At least 10 years experience in retail eyewear. 
  • At least 3 years experience in the same Managerial position.
  • Strong managerial and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
