Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our team and oversee daily farm operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising agricultural activities, monitoring crop production, implementing farming plans, and ensuring efficient utilization of farm resources to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor daily farm operations and agricultural activities.
Implement crop production plans according to seasonal schedules and farm requirements.
Monitor crop growth, health, and development throughout different production stages.
Supervise land preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting activities.
Ensure the proper implementation of irrigation and fertilization programs.
Monitor labor performance and distribute daily tasks among farm workers.
Ensure the efficient utilization of agricultural resources, including water, fertilizers, pesticides, and manpower.
Coordinate with agricultural consultants, suppliers, and relevant departments.
Identify and report crop-related problems, pests, diseases, and operational challenges.
Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with agricultural practices and quality standards.
Prepare daily and periodic reports covering farm activities, production progress, labor, and resource consumption.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or Agriculture.
0–5 years of experience in farm operations or agricultural production, preferably in citrus or palm farming.
Good knowledge of crop production practices and farm management.
Practical experience in irrigation, fertilization, and pest management.
Ability to supervise agricultural workers and manage field activities.
Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work outdoors and in field environments.
