Job Description

  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies of the group.
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinating with procurement team to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management

Job Requirements

  • BS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Purchasing Specialist preferable in manufacturing industry .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of business and management principles.
  • Thorough understanding of materials and supplies used in the company.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience in SAP program is preferable
