Job Description

  • 1.       Implementing food safety & quality standard systems by coordinating the quality systems activities at all departments according to ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC and QCMS Strategy.
  • 2.       Designing sanitation and hygiene programs for the plant. Insuring the proper cleaning & sanitation systems are in place and insuring its implementation. Evaluating the efficiency of the designed program and improving.
  • 3.       Developing hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) and contribute to improvement and strengthening of the HACCP system concerning microbiological point of view. Participate in training activities for plant population to ensure effective awareness and behavior and that best practices are rolled out and implemented across the organization
  • 4.       Initiating, leading and executing the internal audit for the plant and providing the internal audit reports. Evaluating the corrective actions suggested by other departments, and follow up on its closure due to date in cooperation with CI department.
  • 5.       Insuring GMP, personal hygiene & housekeeping manufacturing fully implemented, monitored, and followed by corrective actions & provide required training.
  • 6.       Lead auditor for the supplier management Program
  • 7.       Pest Control – restriction & monitoring activities to be implemented & followed up, procedure shall be in place to plan, schedule and document best control activities which provide a clean and pest free environment.
  • 8.       Establishing documented procedure to define the controls needed. Assuring that relevant version of applicable documents are available at points of use.
  • 9.     Ensuring that the Quality systems are effective within a scope of the position's responsibility

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality or any Relevant Degree.
  • Proven Experience in Quality Assurance 7:10 years including 2 years in a similar position .
  • Science background to provide technical information & the accuracy required.
  • Lead auditing Certification at least against one of the following ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC,….
  • Good knowledge of GMP, food safety, process control roles & ability to provide training for staff
  • Good English language for internal & external communication.
