Job Description
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports. - Sharing with an external office
- Review, prepare & submit all taxes including salaries tax, VAT, and withholding tax deductions.
- Prepare documents for tax inspections by the taxes authorities (salaries tax, VAT, WHT tax, etc.) in regards to tax laws & regulations.
- Preparing form No. 41 regarding withholding tax to be delivered and paid on time to Tax authorities.
- Ensure and review VAT (Value-Added Tax) on company expenses to ensure alignment with updated laws and regulations.
- Review tax calculated according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines.
- Visit the tax authorities when needed.
- Handle tax audits and ensure adequate documentation for tax audits is prepared and stored.
- Provide different tax advice to business units.
- Follow-up latest updates of tax laws and regulations and ensure effective implementation to save the company from any risks.
- Develop all needed reports to be submitted to the direct manager.
- Resolve any conflicts with the tax authorities to save the company from any penalties.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a relevant discipline.
- ERP SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in a similar role from 3-5 years.
Qualification:
- Candidate must be familiar with Egyptian local authorities and complexity of law and business matters
- Knowledgeable in Egyptian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT, and other relevant acts.
- The use of good judgment and good interpersonal communication skills
- Strong work ethic; genuine passion for customer service and quality
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and data handling skills.
- Expert interactive communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, take initiative and follow up independently
