Maintenance Manager - Sharqia

Position Objective:

• To manage maintenance programs for plant equipment and utilities, in order to meet Company requirements, ensuring minimum operational disruption and maximum utilization of all equipment to support finished goods timely delivery at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares the Maintenance department operating budget and submits it to the Manufacturing manager to review and incorporate in the overall department budget.
• Prepares and regularly updates the maintenance policy and procedures manual to ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and the company’s safety regulations.
• Develops the annual maintenance plan to optimize equipment reliability.
• Oversees its implementation ensuring regular equipment and utilities maintenance is carried out according to Company safety and quality assurance standards and on schedule.
• Plans & coordinates in collaboration with the production department, preventive and corrective weekly and yearly maintenance inspections and shut down schedules at a minimum production disruption level.
• Plans & coordinates in collaboration with the Resources department, preventive and corrective weekly and yearly maintenance inspections for the moulds
• Oversees the operations of maintenance & workshops utilities to ensure continuous maximum utilization of plant equipment and minimize downtime.
• Supervises the implementation of off-line maintenance projects related to fixing new equipment and/or replacement of old equipment, ensuring compliance to the company’s SHEQ measures during the actual process.
• Reviews and approves the Purchase Orders (PO) for spare parts to validate its accuracy. Ensures the stock level and availability of required spare parts and manages their consumption in adherence to the budget.
• Provides technical guidance and training to his team on mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Reviews daily maintenance reports, analyses and consolidates data on breakdowns, preventive & corrective maintenance activities. Reports information regarding response time, team’s productivity, spare parts consumption and recommendations for improvement to Manufacturing Manager.
• Maintains & reviews equipment records specifying their history, modification, preventive maintenance cycle, spare parts replacements, for equipment depreciation calculation purposes.
