Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced back-end developer with experience in Node.JS, MongoDB, Postgres, and APIs to build mobile app back-end modules.
- This is a fully remote position.
- You will be communicating with our front-end mobile developer, designing back-end components and continuously making integrations within mobile applications.
- Expertise in creating UI for the backend.
- Write, translate, and document software programs and creating of the backend
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
- Expertise in creating REST APIs
- Be involved in a full spectrum of front-end and back-end engineering, continuous integration of new features and extending existing functionality and maintaining existing code base
- Emphasis on code documentation and producing clean and efficient code
- Self-motivator and self-starter, ability to own and drive things without supervision, and work collaboratively with the teams across the organization
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in primarily back-end work including NodeJS, ReactJS, Rest APIs
- Excellent knowledge developing scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies
- Expertise with SQL (postgres) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and actively involved in problem solving
- Expertise in backend development and integration with front-end via the MERN stack – Node.JS, React.JS
- Expertise with NoSQL databases and integration with API calls (MongoDB, Postgres)
- Ability to create a backend UI
- Proficient knowledge about source and version control managements systems (Git)
- Must be fluent in English
