Job Description
- Own the roadmap and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product.
- Will work with cross-functional teams and build strong connections with our internal teams to understand the needs to inform the roadmap. You will capture these opportunities in product requirements.
- Determine ‘go forward’ strategy, including assessment of product gaps, support across applicable platforms and/or product maintenance that need to be addressed in line with our business and revenue objectives
- Own the brainstorming session for enhancements of existing products, concept validation, business case development, and occasionally in financial modelling and planning of these enhancements
- Define the product release process and coordinating all the activities required to bring the product to market. This involves bridging gaps aligning all internal teams involved — namely marketing, business development, operations and support. Responsibilities also include managing dependencies in and across releases to complete milestones.
- Drive product vision, develop go-to-market strategy, and lead design discussions
- Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
- Analyze market trends and identify solutions to support product development.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
- Have the ability to work across the business, working with teams in the areas of UX/UI design, technology, marketing, business requirements, project management, analytics and relationship management.
- Ensuring that high level Project Plans are efficiently created for each new initiative, with clear activities, milestones, owners and due dates..
- Collaborate with the Developers to agree priorities and ensure product developments/amendments are prioritized correctly and as per the business needs
- Presenting insights (status, progress, challenges, projections) to key stakeholders , and making data-driven recommendations and decisions to improve product performance Identify any issues within current working practices that might impact product delivery
- Conducting due-diligence on new potential partners to improve product performance and success, as well as preparing and presenting comparative analysis to key stakeholders
- Identify barriers that potentially impact product availability and work efficiently to resolve issues and ensure products remain competitive and effective
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Determines product lines’ pricing in different markets/countries.
- Drive the product growth and working on achieving the product objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, or economics.
- 3+ years as product manager preferably in E-payments and e-commerce related fields
- Must be a self-starter, a team leader and passionate about technology who can deep dive into details, innovative in creating new solutions and have the ability to execute and deliver on challenging products
- Demonstrate passion for building platforms at a scale
- Have experience using analytical tools to deep dive into metrics or data whether it is to diagnose a problem, analyze a solution or enhance a KPI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrates ability to inform and advise a diverse set of stakeholders
- Have the ability to translate long-term product visions into simple, bite-sized iterations that deliver business value on an incremental basis.
