Job Description

Egyptian Information, Telecommunications, Electronics, and Software Alliance (EITESAL) - a private sector, non-profit entity of ICTE companies, Multinational corporations, Organizations and Institutions operating in Egypt is looking for a self-starting and motivated Senior Membership engagement and Sales officer – Reporting directly to Eitesal Managing Director-who excels at developing and  recruiting new members to the organization. He/she should be able to maintain and develop strong customer relations and marketing. This position is responsible for the development of both professional and corporate membership, including participation in events and seminars as opportunities to build relationships and sell EITESAL membership benefits.

Successful candidate should be able to:

  • Maintain relationship with current members
  • Selling EiTESAL membership & services & create sponsorship opportunities.
  • Professional customer service for members’ aiming at increasing their satisfaction.
  • To act as the first point of contact for all members and prospective members, taking enquiries via multiple communication channels, providing a high level of customer service, and updating the database accordingly
  • To manage the member life cycle i.e. sale and payment, new member communications, member benefit administration and renewal process
  • Attend events, both internally and externally to promote EITESAL and its membership opportunities
  • Work with other departments across the organization to maximize engagement with membership recruitment strategy
  • Assist in the development of the membership recruitment and retention strategies o To coordinate affiliate and sponsor activity and recognition programs

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Marketing – Computer Science- Commerce)
  • Working experience: 7 years of working experience with at least 5 years in Sales of IT services and IT products
  • Familiar with sales targets and quota-based work environment,
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to undertake research on several subjects and produce reports
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports
  • Experience of working in a membership organization (preferable)
  • Absolute attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills
