Job Description
- Resolve and respond to incidents and service requests received on service management system and other service desk channels (e-mail and phone) within the pre-defined SLA.
- Attend professional trainings purposed/planned by management and keep knowledge level up-to-date with latest technology trends in IT field.
- Report to line manager any major/critical incidents on time.
- Provide support for IT services in infrastructure area in general when workload is high or in case of shortage of staff where other skills or experience is required.
- Adhere to agreed and communicated target dates, priorities and urgencies for tasks and activities related to infrastructure services function assigned by line Manager
- Take ownership to identify, report and improve areas of risks or which need improvements specifically in IT services.
- Provide assistance and consultancy to other team members and management when needed.
- Representing infrastructure team at meetings and communications with staff, vendors and third-parties when requested or based on the job needs.
- Acts as officer in charge or on duty for agreed, communicated and planned maintenance or emergencies during non-working hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Strictly adhere to policies, standards and procedures.
Job Requirements
- A College degree or Diploma and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Communication Technology and Network Administration.
- Experience with banking industry systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other teams.
- Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning.
- Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges.
- Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Working experience with wide and local area networks including experience with common-carrier data networks.
- Extensive experience of TCP/IP protocol, network troubleshooting, network design, routing protocols, and network security.
- Ability to document complex technical issues effectively summarizing issues for a range of technical and business management.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
