Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • The business development function in Naseej includes aspects of strategy development (analyzing and predicting new trends in the market and build business plans accordingly), business development ( build products and services to meet demands and ensure infrastructure accommodates them ), and communication ( with our customers and community to ensure that our UVP is well recognized ).  
  • The Business Development Analyst (BDA) role is an integral role with this team who also works directly and across Naseej to provide guidance and support business decisions.
  • In this role, BDA will use data-based analysis to generate insights and identify business and growth opportunities that match changing market trends. The role will also focus on ensuring that existing business performance is tracked against goals, key metrics, and industry standards. It will provide thoughtful insights to executive management to help solving complex and strategic business challenges.
  • As a BDA, you will support identifying and analyzing business trends and strategic questions and support translating recommendations into actionable plans.

Responsibility:

Conduct Market Research

  • Lead research, analysis, and narrative of industry trends across the education and cultural ecosystems.
  • Synthesize data/research findings into compelling and strategic insights that will transform thinking and inform product strategy decisions/roadmaps.
  • Create deep-dive decks and papers for highly strategic areas and present those findings to executive leadership.
  • Work with Marketing and Cx teams to draw connections between products, external ecosystem trends, and shifting user preferences.
  • Explore strategic business opportunities in markets and assess their impact on current and future performance of the product.
  • Monitor and track competing organizations, understand their successes and derive recommendations to improve Naseej UVP and forge ahead to gain more market share.

 Conduct Product Performance Analysis

  • Research and understand Naseej customer demographics and behaviors – in collaboration with Cx team – and suggest recommendations for positive impact on Naseej performance.
  • Analyze sales development and trends to promote approaches and practices that sustain flow of revenues for the company.
  • Analyze sales data to help drive more retention and less customer churn.
  • Utilize statistical models and surveys to gather reliable market information and predicts market trends.

 Curate the Overall Business Planning Function

  • Coordinate, amongst different stakeholders, the business planning function in accordance with internal approved processes and practices.
  • Manage the calendar of events and ensure that each stakeholder in the planning process is attending to this contribution in process in effective way.
  • Oversee the process performance and report progress.
  • Review, develop and provide recommendation to the current processes and templates.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of business / marketing from reputed business school.
  • Excellent and proven research capabilities with evidential success.  
  • Minimum 3 years in business development / product marketing / marketing research or similar roles.
  • Versatile in using tools like CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
