Job Description
Business Development
- Develop specific program sales strategies and objectives designed to maximize revenue, improve program effectiveness and improve customer convenience and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop a holistic business development strategy.
- Develop request for proposals (RFPs) as per potential clients needs, address their questions and concerns and follow-up regularly to close the deal.
- Mange existing relationships with key accounts.
- Analyse sales reports for key trends and provide weekly sales updates on activities and opportunities.
- Promote and market the business, sometimes to new or niche markets
- Liaise with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules.
- Deal with customer inquiries and aim to meet their expectations
- Generate new business relationship & network with related businesses in existing and new markets, and foster B2B relationships
- Create informative presentations, present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade show, and conferences.
- Develop the tools needed for the strategy (website, branding, presentations, marketing collaterals) for the company.
Sales initiatives
- Generate new customer contacts each month to achieve personal sales goals
- Sell travel products and tour packages
- Create and deliver sales proposals each month to achieve personal sales goals
- Oversee the end-to-end process of the deal, including strategy setting, sales presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations (including financial terms and conditions), and engage leadership team to ensure alignment to each opportunity.
- Keep potential clients informed of new products, services and operating changes
- Ensure smooth hand off of new business to the implementation, operations and client services teams.
- Maintain accurate records and up-to-date clients information on all prospects, target accounts, and new clients.
Administrative Duties
- Performs contract administration duties for all revenue generating contacts
- Manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records.
- Implement alternative and innovative ideas for achieving new business
- Oversee the smooth, efficient running of the business
- Create and maintain a database of prospective clients and their information.
