- JOB PURPOSE:
| Creating user-friendly interfaces that enable users to understand how to use complex technical products. |
- Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
| • Designing and building advanced applications for the backend system. • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of systems. • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. • Implement, debug, configure, build, and test applications. • implement new requirements, handle change requests and fix bugs for different releases. Should deliver a high quality and functioning code. • put configuration layering, change application configuration on different environments, maintain and manage different configuration files. • Build: knowledge of how to write build scripts (e.g. using ant or maven) and how to configure nightly building tools • Test: writing unit tests, knowledge of unit tests frameworks and working with test driven methodology • Technical design, decision-making, analysis and research. • Task breaking down, setting tasks priorities, task estimation and follow releases policies and rules |
Job Requirements
Area of knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing scalable Node.js applications
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
- Solid foundation in data structures and common programming paradigms
- OOP, design patterns, and asynchronous/event-based coding.
