Summary:
Huda Beauty is looking for aPurchasing specialistto join our Purchasing team. In this role, you will support the daily activities related to launch management as well as all the action plans required to achieve departmental goals. This position will be essential in helping create tools and processes for the team to operate better and thrive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate prices, contract terms, quality, and lead time with suppliers while maintaining positive relationships.
- Handle the bidding process and build costing scenarios to identify the best offer.
- Implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives without compromising quality or project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support in selecting appropriate suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Ensure that global margin objectives on assigned product categories are achieved while ensuring internal customers' satisfaction.
- Prepare the quarterly scorecard and animate the improvement plan with each supplier in their portfolio.
- Continuously assess supplier performance and manage any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Analyze purchasing metrics and identify potential optimizations (cost savings, lead time, flow simplification, etc.).
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings to make informed purchasing decisions
