Job Responsibility:
- Handling the turnkey subcontracts& high technical packages
- Check the Subcontracts requests received from the operations in order to ensure complying with the main contract requirements and including all relevant technical specifications, drawings & BOQ to ensure receiving compliance offers from subcontractors
- Negotiate with the procurement manager the proper subcontractors’ list who shall be invited to the tender
- Issue official Invitations to Tenders to various competitive Subcontractors obtained from the approved said list including the said relevant details
- Follow up receiving the offers from the subcontractors on time & issue technical and commercial comparisons based on Minimum 3 offers
- Get the target price from the procurement manager to finalize the deals achieving the saving target
- Negotiate with subcontractors on three different stages with the support of the procurement manager in order to fulfil projects’ time schedule and target prices to get the best offer achieving saving in accordance with the projects’ budget
- Prepare the request of Approval, RFA, and get the signature of the PSC, tender or VO in order to allocate the saving, loss or VO.
- Prepare the subcontracts & the addendums & review the subcontracts terms, conditions and proper attachments with the procurement manager in order to ensure compliance with the company policy and the project’s requirements
- Follow up with the finance the approval on the subcontractors’ financial documents in order to ensure the updated financial documents
- Sign the subcontracts & the addendums with the subcontractors in order to circulate the subcontracts documents through the procurement manager to validate the process according to the SOA
- Prepare the down payment request for the subcontractors, if any, in accordance with their subcontracts’ conditions in order to finalize the deal
- Upload subcontracts to ERP to support the invoice module and get the approval of the Procurement manager
- Engage in Kick-off meetings with the Procurement Manager and the operations in order to introduce the subcontract to the operations for critical deals
- Attending the projects progress meetings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Arch Engineering only
- 2-4 years of experience
- at least 2 years experience in subcontracts procurement filed
- Strong skills in (Budgeting, Contracts, and Supply chain and cost breakdown)
- Subcontracts Management Experience is a Must.
