Job Description
Main Duties:
- Perform periodic security risk assessments and initiate risk control checks.
- Follow ISO standards & ITIL best practice by participating in incident management, problem management, asset management, change management, project management, and continuous improvement of network environment.
- Review and assess IT security requirements and network topology for current and new solutions, have the ability to gather/document requirements and identify/recommend appropriate secure solutions.
- Install, configure, support and maintain firewalls, security devices and security best practice configurations (IPSs, Switches, Routers, DDOS and any Network Equipment…).
- Monitors security performance and implements performance tuning when necessary.
- Diagnose and manage complex network security issues and coordinate resolution on time.
- Create and update documentation utilizing organizational standards to ensure retention and collaboration of knowledge.
- Manage and prioritize tasks associated with complex projects.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve problems and solve issues on time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Electronics Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network routing/switching (VLANs, trunk, link aggregation, routing protocols, multi cast, other LAN protocols).
- Experience in security architecture and design
- Expert in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPsec, SSL…etc).
- Deep knowledge and experience managing and troubleshooting network security.
- CCIE/CCNP (Security), NSE 4 is a plus.
- Strong practical experience on Cisco, Fortinet, Arbor and Juniper security appliances.
- 8 years relevant experience in the IT Security field within a technology intensive environment (Data Center, Telecommunications, Financial Services, etc...)
