Job Description
- Designing the GUI of the websites, mobile applications, and all related aspects.
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Work closely with UX designers, developers, and business analysts.
- Utilize knowledge of responsive design to account for various screen sizes
- Create a style guide (colors, typeface, etc.) for each project, decide what touchpoints the user will interact with and where the touchpoints lead, design the touchpoints (buttons, icons, etc.)
- Create prototypes to catch design weaknesses and perform usability testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Arts
- Extensive experience in UI design, ideally for both desktop web applications and mobile apps (tablets and phones)
- 3+ years of experience in the same field
- Proved track record of creating user-centered designs such as websites and web applications
- Excellent experience in Adobe Creative Products, sketch and zeplin
- Strong UI design skills as well as a solid understanding of current trends and design patterns
- Solid understanding of color theory, web typography, and user psychology
- An online portfolio with an outstanding body of work that demonstrates experience in designing usable web-based interfaces
- Experience in Adobe After Effect is a plus
