Job Description
- Responsible for revising, updating and/or creating documents for the IT department including: material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, process documents, catalogs and user guides.
- Create new documents as determined by the business to reflect current business policies and procedures.
- Leverage current corporate templates.
- Translate documents from/to English and Arabic.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers.
- Produce video and demo's presentation, interactive tutorials and product worksheet and brochures.
- Work with document owners and/or subject matter experts to solicit/confirm content and requirements.
- Work with document stakeholders to solicit feedback and update documents accordingly.
- Keep a constant commitment on improving the functionality of the knowledge management tools; More automation, better functionality,better integration with other tools
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, open to all majors.
- Understanding of system integration and data flows.
- Experience with various forms of writing (word, excel, power point, Visio, etc..).
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in verbal and written form, including technical/business writing.
- Ability of producing all required documents in both English and Arabic languages.
- Ability to take direction, and work independently or in teams.
- Logical thinking and multitasking skills
- Process oriented, and deep understanding of documents standards and hierarchy.
- 2+ years of experience in technical/business writing, or similar.
