Project Technical Office Mechanical Team Leader

The Project Technical Office Mechanical Team Leader is responsible for supervising the Technical Office Mechanical team in delivering Electromechanical systems design, submittals, engineering and shop drawings, delivering calculations, modifying consultant designs, coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders prior to installation and providing support during installation, testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities :

• Oversee the delivery Electromechanical systems design and shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Electrical Works according to applicable codes and standards
• Oversee the delivery of Electromechanical calculation using industry commonly used software
• Oversee the delivery of the bill of quantities and technical specifications
• Provide a proactive interface between the consultant, subcontractors and the client
• Provide support and supervision during the installation, testing and commissioning phases
• Ensure project scope is delivered on time and on budget
• Prepare team progress reports and follow up on subcontractor’s progress
• Recruit, supervise, train and evaluate a team of engineers within the Technical Office
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
