Job Description
- Provide assistance to sales in customer meetings onsite, in alternative offices or vendors offices.
- Provide a High Level Design (HLD) service that deliver quotations, proposal documents, diagrams and input to the design and technical sections of tender responses.
- Provide presentations material of solutions.
- Provide clear solution handover information to post sales using an agreed format and solution document.
- Attend low level design meetings with post-sales and customer staff
- Ensure that requests for assistance from the sales team and engineering staff involved with the implementation of scoped projects are serviced in a timely manner.
- Ensure that where customer requirements are unclear for portfolio vendor's products this is clarified in further communication with the customer or to sales
- Maintain up to date vendor accreditation levels for key portfolio vendors. This will include attendance sessions and regular vendor updates.
Job Requirements
- Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Have an excellent all-round understanding of networking protocols and technologies including routing, switching, wireless and security in LAN, WLAN, MAN, WAN environments.
- Self-motivated and strives to go the extra mile.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Personable and presentable.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
