Collection Manager

Job Summery

Responsible for managing all delinquent accounts for the purpose of collecting past-due balances.  Evaluates quality of accounts receivable and assigns risk factors by generating reports and conducting credit reviews.  Assesses credit practices and recommends changes in procedures and policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply collection activities to maximize cash receipts
• Help manage daily operations for the collections department.
• Develop processes and procedures for evaluating customer financial and setting or changing credit limits.
• Minimizes delinquencies and recovers revenue by performing collection activities.
• Improves collection efforts by identifying, analyzing, and recommending loss litigation opportunities.
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
• Handle escalated issues presented by management.
• Help train and coach team members.
• Help manage relationships with the Sales department.
