- Lynks, one of the fastest growing startups in Egypt, is seeking a talented, self-driven Software Engineer who wants to join a fast-paced company and have a major impact on the development of the company’s technical infrastructure.
- The successful candidate will work with both frontend (HTML/CSS/jQeury) and backend (Ruby on Rails, Postgresql, AMQP, Hadoop) technologies to shape and grow our platform. The Software
- Engineer will also work closely with the company’s founders and will have the opportunity to make significant contributions that ensure the best user experience for our customers.
Job Requirements
Preferably you have:
- Worked with Ruby / Rails framework or another MVC framework
- Experience with shell scripting
- Projects on your Github/ Bitbucket account that you are proud of
- Contributed to an open source project
- English fluency, both written and spoken
To apply, you should have:
- Coding skills and computer science fundamentals
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Experience with web development, specifically back-end development
- Experience with Git or another revision control system
- Passion about writing code in your spare time
- Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic
