Job Description
- Design, develop and execute tactical, operational and strategic Supply Chain processes to ensure all global sales orders are on-time and error free
- Plan, implement, and control the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of finished goods, services
- Create master supply plans and set finished goods replenishment levels for all products to ensure global customer demand is met
- Provide standard lead-time commitments to order fulfillment and ensure forecast accuracy objectives are met
- Manage Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Manage and mentor the Supply Chain team, including setting performance objectives, regular team meetings and communicating direction and changes
- Ensure global trade compliance practices are in effect across product distribution to ensure compliance with all import/export requirements
- Develop and report Supply Chain performance metrics
- Develop an organizational road map outlining Supply Chain manpower and both physical and system requirements to support rapid organizational growth
- Drive logistics cost reductions (brokerage, carriers, taxes, duties, etc) through effective management of all freight carriers, inbound and outbound
- Manage all customs brokers and minimize the associated costs of importation tax and duty incurred by ensuring the proper product codes, allowed exemptions, customs documents, and shipping methods are implemented and utilized
- Evaluate and enhance Supply Chain policies and procedures, to enhance Supply Chain performance and oversee the implementation of industry best practices to ensure integrity and security of our products
- Identify cost drivers and deliver cost savings and quality improvements in line with the organization’s expectations year over year
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management required
- 10+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain
- Master's degree PREFERRED
- Experience in Industrial companies
- Experience managing 3+ direct reports / hands-on leadership skills
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning / process development) systems
- Experience with QMS (Quality Management) systems
- Logistics, planning methodology, transportation, and warehouse management experience
- Customer service skills
