About the Job

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Supports Distribution Center Operations Manager on day to day operational activities in achieving high level of productivity performance towards customer satisfaction
  • Key person in having an efficient processes on stock inventory management from stock controls and execution of action to claims management and reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for checking, controlling, processing and reporting of all stock adjustments and transfers of stock for warehouse, office and retail store locations from/to different stock categories
  • Supports the Distribution Center Operations Manager on Stock Counts activities on coordination and execution of action
  • Coordinates with the Order Fulfillment team from inbound to outbound activities in terms of prioritizing and planning to facilitate space management
  • Supports the Distribution Center Operations Manager on KPI reporting
  • Helps in maintaining the Service Level Agreements with the service providers and ensures that it is being followed in efficient manner
  • Supports the Distribution Center Operations Manager on POS & Shop Fixtures inventory and space management
  • Coordinates the execution plan for store to store transfer with Retail and Service Providers
  • Responsible for providing the PO Export file or any manual ASN (Advance Shipment Notification) to distribution center for their WMS (Warehouse Management System) requirement in receiving a shipment
  • Responsible for daily Cycle Count Coordination and Execution, and ensures that all processes are being followed
  • Supports the Distribution Center Operations Manager on adhoc analysis/reports
  • Responsible for maintaining an effective processes of handling Damage and Defective goods including data entries on adicomp system and follow up claims approval
  • Responsible & manages inbound claims from GPS and FZE Buy orders processes

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good knowledge on Logistics and warehousing operations
  • Good understanding on the flow of goods in and out of the distribution center

  • Ability to manage under pressure
  • Time Management
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement with his/her team and have an attitude to challenge Status Quo

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain / Logistics background or at least 2 years of experience on Warehousing & Distribution
  • University/Bachelor’s degree in business (or similar)
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Oral & Written)
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office applications particularly on Words, Excel and Power Point
