Job Description
- Responsible to build a Purchasing Department/ Team
- Build and integrate an internal structure with the use of forms that entails everything from:
- Creating tender offers between vendors/ suppliers based on factory needs and wants
- Negotiating prices and contracts with the numerous vendors/ suppliers WHILE reviewing technical specifications for materials, components, equipment
- Narrowing down, seeking, and shortlisting the most reliable vendors/ suppliers that provide the best quality goods at the most reasonable prices (while creating an archive of all vendors/ suppliers for future use)
- Forwarding the best possible contracts and offers to the Financial Department so they can review, certify, and spend the money required
- Hand over incoming materials, components, and equipment to Inventory and make sure it fits the technical specifications.
Job Requirements
- Broad and deep understanding of Egyptian market places (souq(s)) that are related to manufacturing goods, materials, and components
- Good understanding of how to create solid market research and tender offers
- Solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers for the company
- Good ENGLISH AND ARABIC skills (written and spoken) as emails will play a big role. GERMAN AND ITALIAN ARE A BIG PLUS.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills that will give way to proper liaising with suppliers and vendors
