Job Description
- Communicate with Foreign Suppliers and getting best price quotations from them
- Issue P/O according to company needs
- Make sure that the supplier’s quotations meet the company P/O specifications before approval.
- Ensure that shipments are in compliance with customs rules and regulations.
- Awareness of Shipment terms as CIF, FOB , DAP, FCA, , …..
- Awareness of tariffs, insurance, and quotas, and categorize shipments according to a tariff coding system.
- Awareness of the documents needed by customs for each shipment , and ensuring that the shipments documents are in compliance with customs regulations, as well as, to be in compliance with all other rules of controlling authorities in the importing country.
- Make sure that the supplier sends all the requested documents and authentications on time.
- Track the location of the shipment till arrival to the destination, to ensure accurate & on time delivery..
- Consulting with customs agents to ease passage of shipments through customs.
- Delivering the correct documents to customs Agent to release the goods from port in a short time.
- Monitoring the flow of goods from the clearing port up to the store (Transportation, warehouse & distribution of goods).
- Undertake all filing related to each separate shipment.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree
- Experience in dealing with Forwarders and shippers , and ability to obtain best prices, delivery terms & payment terms for the required products , either by Air or by Sea.
- Experience in International Trade field.
- Ability to communicate with foreign suppliers on daily basis to get quotations and good prices from them.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in import & and logistics from different worldwide markets.
- Computer and management skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Good communication Skills
