Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into solution concepts that is meaningful, easy to use, and engaging.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, wireframes, user flows, process flows and sitemaps.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
- Prototype and design visuals using photoshop and illustrator.
- Work closely with developers to ensure user experience quality.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science or any related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the same position.
Technical skills:
- Proven 5+ years’ successful experience building user interfaces for Web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.
- Proven strong experience with jQuery Mobile and/or Bootstrap
