Job Description
Vijua is a Cairo-based technology company specialized in interactive ebook technologies.
Vijua's partner, Clenergy Inc, a company specialized in renewable energy, is searching for a business development specialist to bring new business to the company. The responsibilities are as follows:
- Initiate, develop & expand the Company’s solar business.
- Searching for new clients who could benefit from the services/products offered.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Calculating client quotations & preparing necessary BOQs (with technical support by head office).
- Preparing periodical progress reports for head office.
- Identification of project risks, analysis and recommendation of mitigation measures to direct supervisors, to be incorporated during contract negotiation.
- Achieve regular revenue targets as set by the Management.
- Liaising with other members of the team, suppliers & subcontractors.
- Maintain positive and strong business relations with existing customers to maintain the Company’s reputation and business.
- Responsible for maintaining all related Documentation.
Benefits:
- Project commission of 3% from project value, payable pro-rata from any incoming payments
- Work from home policy (virtual office). Serviced office may be rented once required.
- Paid annual vacation of 20 calendar days and other paid leaves / public holidays in accordance with the Egyptian law in effect. The Company reserves the right to schedule paid annual leaves to align with work obligations.
- Annual training course that suits employee’s interest and work requirements for continuous development. In addition, regular in-house training shall be performed.
Job Requirements
The following commitment is required:
- At least 1 project to be secured within 3 months from appointment.
- Targets to be set jointly with management for the full year once a project is secured.
- A degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience
- Good research and analytical skills
- Strong communications and negotiation skills
- Computer skills; demonstrated working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent English and Arabic writing/speaking skills
- Ability to work under pressure
