Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes.
- Accounts payable/receivable.
- Financial forecasting, financial analysis
- Payroll and utilities.
- Cash forecasting.
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Capital assets reconciliations.
- Trust account statement reconciliations.
- Check runs.
- Fixed asset activity.
- Debt activity.
- Assist with audits and taxes, Prepare financial reports for taxes
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Project costing, financial modeling, financial forecasting, financial analysis, financial project feasibility study, investment management
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- Proficiency in banking operations and Credit systems.
- Saudi Labor Market Experience is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Preferred to have experience in working in software companies
- 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Knowledge of Odoo - ERP System will be highly regarded
