Job Description
Position Title: Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer
Reporting Manager: Technical Manager.
Employment: Full Time. (Renewed annually)
Salary: Negotiable based on potential, experience, talents and skills.
Working Days: Saturday to Thursday.
Office hours: 9 Am- 5 PM Daily (extended working hours should be expected).
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Review & verification of 3D CAD designs and models;
- Produce designs from 3D scans (Reverse Engineering);
- Operation, maintenance and management of various 3D Printers;
- Production planning;
- Provide technical support to clients.
Objectives of the Team
- Continuous development and improvement of production system from designing to packaging to ensure efficient production;
- Assess feasibility of customers’ designs and requirements,
- Ensure timely production of customer models,
- Manage consumables and spare parts inventory to ensure the uninterrupted performance.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements / Skills
- An sound engineering sense to be able to comprehend the concepts of the various modeling techniques and the electro-mechanics as well as reversed engineering.
- Proficiency in the use of CAD and 3D modeling software programs. (Such as SolidWorks, 3D Max, Cinema 4D, Blender, Rhino, Sketchup, Maya etc.)
- Proven experience with projects portfolio
Also, the successful candidate should demonstrate;
- Character and integrity.
- A passion for learning and development.
- Creativity, resourcefulness and a passion for adopting new technologies.
- Above standard operation of computers, basic software (MS Office).
- Being a constructive team player with good social & communication skills. (Also in situations where electronic communication is the only available medium).
- Good command of the English language.
- Hard efficient worker.
Candidates with experience in 3D printing will be preferred.
