Job Description
- Apply safety and environment policies application according to OHSAS 18001-2007 and ISO 14001-2004
- Conducts site inspections and Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
- Monitor operational departments' conformance with safety, environment and quality systems, standards and procedures.
- Provide a daily monitoring checklist of operation , HSE issues and activities for the HSE supervisor review and action including:
- Daily site tour “ waste segregation, housekeeping , Fire extinguishers, alarm system, first aids, MSDS and Leaks
- HSE documentation “Work permits for welding and confined upon operation needs
- Incidents and near misses
- Risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis “considering safe working practices and controls”.
- Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the HSE Supervisor
- Guides workers and Able to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent
- Very good command of English
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Skills Required:Leadership - team player , communications, good public relations and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with people from different cultures and backgrounds
