Job Description
- Encourage the students to communicate with each other using the structures and vocabulary they've learned and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups using the communicative approach for teaching.
- Introduce children to mathematics, language, and science.
- Use games, music, artwork, films, books, computers, and other tools to teach basic skills.
- Use creative techniques in teaching.
- Teach letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and awareness of nature and science.
- Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
- Utilize various curriculum resources.
- Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
- Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Prepare and distribute required reports.
- Observe and evaluate student's performance.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
Job Requirements
- Proficient English language users in terms of fluency, accuracy & pronunciation.
- BA degree in English with a specification in English teaching & education is a must.
- Novice or experienced teachers are both accepted.
- Language school graduates are preferred.
- Holding a teaching certificate would be an asset (FELT, TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, ..…etc.)
- Presentable & open to learning.
- Possess very good communication skills.
