Job Description
- Drive growth and sales objectives.
- Manage operationally the commercial team.
- Own and drive commercial excellence and sales force effectiveness.
- Drive operational reviews & forecasting
- Set operational process metrics.
- Provides advice and counsel on target opportunities and associated sales/capture strategies. Leads prime contract negotiations.
- Establishes financial sales goals for the sales resources based on sector strategies. Ensures the specific regions and accounts have proper sales coverage.
- Maintains contact with prospective clients through sales visits, calls, letters, and other means
- Possesses knowledge of major drivers, challenges and issues facing industry and client; comprehends client facilities, processes, and operations technologies
- Responsible for market intelligence and tracking of market share development and price evaluation.
- Supports and provides guidance to Business Development functions by providing client and market information to gain market share.
- Establishes and monitors metrics supporting the Customer Satisfaction Program.
- Motivates and focuses regional sales resources to ensure sales targets are met.
- Oversees performance management process, goal setting and development planning, performance feedback, and implementation of annual and mid-year performance review process.
- Provides support and facilitates training for the field sales resources.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Power and Machine Engineering , or equivalent years of experience.
- Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in engineering and construction with a successful track record in direct sales.
- Strong understanding of industry including Energy, Power, and Utility business, including drivers and motivators.
- Able to develop and maintain strategic customer relationships.
- Ability to challenge the sales norm, and facilitate change to ensure success of the capture/ production Energy structure.
- Exhibits high ethical standards in business and in work; maintains a reputation of integrity among clients.
- Good overall organizational skills. Ability to sell; strong negotiating and persuasive skills.
- Excellent communications/human relations skills (written, verbal, client service); Ability to interface with diverse personalities, including specific client cultures.
- Self-starter. Ability to inspire and energize others in team oriented environment. Leadership and change management skills.
