Define and lead allocation of resources and develop early equipment and material procurement related to assigned tasks.
Follow work practices and instructions as directed by Project Manager
Ensure quality of erection/installation, as per design and procedures
Ensure that project schedule is being met
Closely monitor cost and apply cost control directive
Coordinate schedule and impact assessments with Construction teams
Ensure erection/installation and tests are documented in accordance with procedures
Keep accurate records e.g. maintain log book, record of works carried out, record sheets
Responds to operational emergencies and escalations as required
Monitor for progress and prepare daily progress reports
Comply with delegated responsibilities in the areas of Health and Safety and have a proactive approach towards the reduction/elimination of accidents and dangerous occurrences in the workplace. Responsible for safety of subordinate team at work site.
