Job Description:
- Responsible for the construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems with Oracle databases and Oracle PL-SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring software meets requirements.
- Provides technical support to operations or other development teams.
- Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/ manual related to assigned PL/SQL to ensure support ability and reuse.
- Monitors and troubleshoots system performance issues.
- Assists with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow.
- Provides work breakdown and estimates for small software development tasks.
- Actively participates in team and status meetings.
Job Requirements
- 3 to 4 years experience PL-SQL Programming
- 3 to 4 years experience Oracle 11g database.
- 2 years experience LINUX scripting
- Experience working in both waterfall and agile environments, with a passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and excellence.
- Understanding of Data Modeling techniques and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of relational database design and database management systems.
- Knowledge and experience with TOAD and/or PL/SQL Developer
- Extensive experience in Complex SQL Queries, Dynamic SQL, Analytical function, various Oracle Objects, etc.
- Experience on database design, best architecture practices, normalization and dimensional modeling etc.
- Expert in Query optimization, Debugging, and Tuning for improving performance
- Significant experience & demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of database programming and analysis, including Cursors, Ref-cursors, Procedures, Functions and Packages, Oracle Supplied Packages, Collections, Partitioned Tables, Triggers, Table Indexing
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle certification.
- Experience in Oracle 12c
- Good analytical skills - ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
