Job Description

Harirshop Prvt. LLC, a Saudi startup ecommerce company, established 2019 at Mecca to provide a high value contribution and a remarkable footprint in the rapidly growth e-commerce market, through a unique kitchenware online store and a stunning reliable e-shopping experience.

We are looking for promising talented leader to fill the position of Category Manager within Operation Team, based in Cairo (Both Remote and office work conditions) to be responsible for the following duties:-

  • Define kitchenware category management strategies, develop all relevant key policies/procedures, and take the necessary action for management approval.
  • Performing a deep study for target customers according to the company strategy, and determine the consumer behavior, vital needs, and the appropriate value to be discussed with the management and business development team.
  • Performing market studies and demand analysis for all available category merchandises as well as the target customer needs, to be discussed with the management to approve the target merchandises categories and the excluded ones.
  • Listing the merchandises and all available alternatives according to the technical specifications and the related merchandise lists, as well as defining the target sales volume.
  • Insure that market and competitive studies and analysis are up-to-date to develop the pricing strategies and identify the most effective and popular promotions among e-shoppers across various online stores.
  • Developing long-term category management strategies, as well as exit ones for unpromising merchandises according to the market trends and competitive position and take the necessary action for updates.
  • Maintaining a high level of active and effective communication across departments to follow up the market position of the merchandises, pricing and promotions as well as procurement activities to ensure a winning category management operations.
  • Insure a high level of communications with the CRM and logistics on the key issues and suggestions of the e-shoppers, in order to develop appropriate proactive solutions as well as the necessary preventive actions to be taken. Also, developing a clear roadmap for the development of category management operations and strategies.
  • Determining demand expectations over all merchandises to insure an efficient inventory management operations, sufficient safety stock levels and turnover rates.
  • Ensure an appropriate merchandise profile across the online-stores, participating in the emarketing activities, developing appropriate web content for emarketing campaigns in order to insure a distinct presence and position for the category in the market.
  • Estimating costs and profit margin, in addition of developing all needed reports regarding sales targets and procurement plans to maintain an appropriate stock levels.
  • Define suppliers accreditation system in accordance with the procurement policy for management approval. also, reviewing new suppliers evaluation reports to ensure that all accreditation criteria are met for certification.
  • Define and approve the terms of reference and payment conditions of all local and international suppliers, in addition to review quotations according to the price lists.
  • Follow up the procurement plan and the supply schedule to ensure the plan execution, as well as follow up the relevant account receivables in coordination with the corporate accountant.
  • Track the movement of merchandise to follow up the supply and delivery services. Also, take the necessary action for non and slow moving SKUs incorporation with the warehousing unit and developing all relevant inventory reports.
  • Define and analyze freight cost for all merchandise to reach targeted rates and take the necessary action for development and increasing the profit margins, and present all relevant reports.
  • Review receiving vouchers of all merchandise and assure that all relevant data are met and matching all supplies against the  approved purchasing orders and quotations as well as the issue vouchers in the case of returns.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred, with a minimum of 7 years of e-commerce and buying experience.
