Job Description
Project manager will be deployed on client side within the PMO function (controlling PMO), main responsibilities include:
- Lead project planning sessions
- Ensuring project management methodologies and processes are put in place
- Offering support on project status reporting and tracking
- Providing support and insight to program and project managers
- Defining and developing steering indicators
- Overseeing operational project planning, reporting, risk management and budget control
- Coordinate staff and internal resources
- Managing project progress and adapt work as required
- Ensuring projects meet deadlines
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Designing and signing off on contracts / deliverables
- Manage some projects as per client requirements (directive PMO role)
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
- Designing risk mitigation plan
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
6 months project, to be extended depending on performance
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of PMO experience is a must
- Engineering, management bachelor's degree or equivalent
- PMP is highly preferable
- Fluent English is a must
- Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities
- Flexibility to travel outside Egypt (70% of the time)
- Available to start within a month
