Job Description

We are looking for an experienced teacher who has a strong passion in teaching TEFL, with capability of engaging students on all levels of language learning experience.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver English language instruction to individuals, vocational groups and corporate.
  • Create lesson plans using available resources with passion and care.
  • Maintain attendance sheets for classes taught.
  • Ensure the timely submission of grades at the end of the course.
  • Prepare needed resources and materials in advance of scheduled sessions.
  • Assume responsibility for classroom orderliness
  • Work with and provide support for academic and operational teams in order to provide the best possible courses and educational experiences for students.

Job Requirements

Required Education:

  • Candidate must have: a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and/or related experience and an ability to communicate in cross cultural situations; and must possess good oral and written communication skills.

Required Experience:

  • Typically requires a minimum of two-years of experience as a TOEFL and/or IELTS Instructor.
  • CELTA holders are highly preferred.
  • Background in teaching ESL with certification preferred.
  • Working effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in applying different methods for the improvement of students.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with a highly diverse staff, faculty, and student body.
  • Ability to excel in a demanding, outcome-oriented, and dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge in lesson planning and modules preparation.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Goal-oriented.
  • Ability work under pressure.
  • Flexible; can work evenings and/or weekends.
