Job Description
- Provide systems and software installation, tuning, backup, DR and support across production and pre-production environments in multiple physical locations
- Manages data center and infrastructure design, physical hardware, Linux/Windows server installations, clustering configurations, virtualization infrastructure
- Installs, configures, monitors, and maintains custom business application software built on the Linux stack
- implement and maintain tools and processes for automating system administration, management, alerting, and monitoring to obtain complete and proactive view of the systems and user experience
- Maintenance of hardware and operating system, administration of hosted services, monitoring system performance, and the implementation and monitoring of security policies
- Project work will include the planning and execution of server installations and migrations and the development and testing of disaster recovery capabilities
- Leads efforts on tuning, performance management and capacity planning for the infrastructure
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science/ communication engineering or any other related field
- +3 years of experience in similar position
- Specific knowledge of RedHat or Oracle Linux platforms
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux, Linux services, and Linux networking
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, firewall management, and database administration
- Familiar with Open LDAP & Redhat Directory server
- Ability to conduct research into Linux issues and products as required
- Systems troubleshooting experience
- Good knowledge in Virtualization (VSphere ,Hyper-v) & OPEN STACK
- RHCE Certified is must
- ITIL Foundation Certified is must
- Familiar with Windows administration (MCSA certified is preferred )
