Job Description

  • The Process Improvement and Business Efficiency Manager and their team will be responsible for quality monitoring as well as evaluation, design, and implementation of best practice business processes to improve service and business efficiency. 
  • They will analyze data related to workflow, processes, and reporting to evaluate the efficiency of current-state business processes.
  • The Manager will support the implementation of process improvement including design and deployment. 
  • The Manager will design and assist team members in creation of process metrics reports that will be sent to Tanmeyah leadership teams for clear visibility into volume reporting. 
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes across product lines and the ability to recommend process changes, procedure redesign, etc., as needed to support the business while assisting with quality and outsourcing efforts. 
  • Common objectives for process redesign across the business will be to maintain high quality, customer-focused service delivery, to ensure the business remains compliant with ever-changing state and federal regulations, and to preserve transaction accuracy and efficiency. 
  • This position will also have a role in collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues representing various Tanmeyah verticals and functional departments to achieve common objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading process analysis and redesign efforts utilizing lean methodology
  • Demonstrated experience leading others in process analysis and redesign initiatives
    Experience teaching and mentoring others in ‘Yellow Belt’ level skills and basic quality tools a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into measurable action and present projects to management for evaluation and prioritization
  • Ability to present complex processes in easy to understand terms to various cross-functional stakeholders to receive approval and prioritization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, both large and small, with competing due dates and present status to management
  • Considerable skills in process improvement, business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem-solving and team building.
  • Ability to create detailed project plans and high-level milestones across cross-functional teams to ensure projects are on track
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and communicate to management any concerns regarding resources, timeline obstacles and prioritization
  • Experience working in a HR Outsourcing/PEO environment a plus
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and the creation of queries from PeopleSoft tables a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering operational business results in a service environment
  • Experience managing vendor relationships a plus
  • Ability to work on project deliverables with minimal supervision and present status and results to Director for approval
